男女双方通过自由恋爱，想结为法律上的夫妻，必须符合法律的有关规定。那么，结婚的条件是什么?男女双方结婚的积极条件包括以下三点：(一)、男女双方完全自愿结婚必须男女双方完全自愿，不许任何一方对他方加以强迫或任何第三者加以干涉。这是婚姻自由原则在结婚问题上的具体表现。男女双方完全自愿的要求是指：男女双方自愿，而不是一厢情愿;男女本人自愿，而不是必经父母或第三人的同意;男女双方完全自愿，而不是勉强同意。(二)、达到法定婚龄法定婚龄是指法律规定的允许结婚的最低年龄。“结婚年龄，男不得早于二十二周岁，女不得早于二十周岁。”男女双方当事人达到法定婚龄后，有决定自己是否结婚和何时结婚的权利，由此可见与我国古代强制早婚的必婚制比较，我国实行的是倡导晚婚的允婚制。(三)、符合一夫一妻制原则根据一夫一妻制原则，申请结婚的双方当事人需原配偶，只能是未婚者，或者丧偶、离婚者。违反一夫一妻制的男女结合，不具有婚姻的法律效力。男女结婚除了在双方的年龄上面有要求外，其实需要符合一夫一妻制度，同时双方也是属于完全自愿登记结婚的，不然就算是年龄上面符合了要求，最终也会因为不满足其他结婚条件，导致双方不能领取到结婚证，自然这样的情况下也就不能按照婚姻关系对待。
法律依据:《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千零四十六条结婚应当男女双方完全自愿，禁止任何一方对另一方加以强迫，禁止任何组织或者个人加以干涉。
