释义	法律分析：一、什么是一夫一妻制（一）婚姻是一男一女的结合。一夫一妻制的特征在于婚姻关系在一男一女之间产生，任何人不能同时有两个或两个以上的配偶，禁止同性结婚。（二）已经结婚者在配偶死亡前或者离婚前不能再行结婚。但并不是说一个人一生只能结一次婚。（三）法律禁止重婚和有配偶者与他人同居。一切公开的、隐蔽的一夫多妻或一妻多夫的两性关系都是非法的，是法律禁止和取缔的，对违反一夫一妻制的行为应当视具体情况予以民事制裁或刑事制裁。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千零四十一条
