释义	公告送达是人民法院送达法律文书的一种，公告送达是人民法院通过公告的方式，将法律文书送达给当事人的，公告期间是60日。法律依据：《民事诉讼法》第九十二条受送达人下落不明，或者用本节规定的其他方式无法送达的，公告送达。自发出公告之日起，经过六十日，即视为送达。受送达人下落不明，是指受送达人无固定的住址，也无法查明其现在的住址，下落不明，使人民法院无法采用直接送达的方式向当事人送达诉讼文书。法院应严格审查适用条件，慎用公告送达。
