释义	1、假释是对被判处有期徒刑、无期徒刑的犯罪分子，在执行一定刑期之后，因其遵守监规，接受教育和改造，患有严重疾病或确有悔改表现，不致再危害社会，而附条件地将其予以提前释放的制度，是一种刑罚执行方式。2、（一）对象条件假释只适用于被判处有期徒刑和无期徒刑的犯罪分子。（二）时间条件假释只适用于已经执行一部分刑罚的犯罪分子。（三）实质条件犯罪人认真遵守监规，接受教育改造，确有悔改表现，假释后没有再犯罪的危险，这是适用假释的实质条件。法律依据《中华人民共和国刑法》第八十一条
