问题	借款人没有按期返还借款的有什么责任
释义	借款人没有按照约定的期限返还借款的，应当按照约定或者国家有关规定支付逾期利息。当事人可以在合同中对逾期利息的问题作出约定，这种约定既可以是自然人之间对逾期利息是否收取或者利率多少的约定，也可以是金融机构与借款人在国家规定的幅度内对逾期利率的确定。如果金融机构的借款合同中，没有对逾期利率作出约定，金融机构可以按照国家有关规定的利率向借款人收取逾期利息。目前在实践中，金融机构就是按照中国人民银行的有关规定办理的，即对于逾期借款，金融机构在日利率万分之四至万分之六的幅度内向借款人计收利息。
