释义	法定哺乳期为一年时间，是指从婴儿出生开始，至婴儿满一周岁时截止。如果婴儿体质特别虚弱，经县以上医疗机构证明，可适当延长哺乳期。《中华人民共和国劳动法》第六十三条不得安排女职工在哺乳未满一周岁的婴儿期间从事国家规定的第三级体力劳动强度的劳动和哺乳期禁忌从事的其他劳动，不得安排其延长工作时间和夜班劳动。
