释义	对过失犯罪不适用正当防卫。过失犯罪是指应当预见自己的行为可能发生危害社会的结果，因为疏忽大意而没有预见，或者已经预见而轻信能够避免，以致发生这种结果的行为。因为过失犯罪属于结果犯，只有当危害结果已经出现时，过失犯罪才成立。而在危害结果已经出现的情况下，自然不存在实施正当防卫来阻止危害结果发生的可能，因而对过失犯罪实际上是不适用正当防卫的。法律依据《中华人民共和国刑法》第十五条、第二十条
