问题	民法典儿媳不赡养公婆犯法吗
释义	不犯法。《民法典》没有哪一条明确规定儿媳有赡养公婆的义务，仅仅是规定了成年子女有在父母缺乏劳动能力或者生活困难的情况下赡养的义务。因此儿媳不赡养公婆并不违反法律。但是丧偶儿媳对公婆尽了主要赡养义务的，可以继承公婆的遗产。法律依据《民法典》第一千一百二十九条，丧偶儿媳对公婆，丧偶女婿对岳父母，尽了主要赡养义务的，作为第一顺序继承人。
