如今社会还有父债子偿一说吗法律认可吗

法律分析：
如今社会没有父债子偿一说，法律也不予认可。由于父亲一般是完全民事行为能力人，所以父亲应独立偿还其债务。但是父亲如果死亡，而儿子继承其遗产的，则儿子需要以所得遗产的实际价值为限偿还父亲依法应当清偿的债务。如果儿子放弃继承的，则不需要清偿。
法律依据：
《中华人民共和国民法典》 第一千一百六十一条  继承人以所得遗产实际价值为限清偿被继承人依法应当缴纳的税款和债务。超过遗产实际价值部分，继承人自愿偿还的不在此限。
