释义	夫妻债务可以由一人承担。法律规定，离婚时，夫妻共同债务应当共同偿还。共同财产不足清偿或者财产归各自所有的，由双方协议清偿；协议不成的，由人民法院判决。所以只要双方就一人承担债务能够达成一致，即可让夫妻一方承担全部夫妻债务，但这仅属于夫妻间的内部约定，债权人不知情的，仍可以让双方承担连带偿还责任。法律依据: 《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千零八十九条离婚时，夫妻共同债务应当共同偿还。共同财产不足清偿或者财产归各自所有的，由双方协议清偿；协议不成的，由人民法院判决。
