释义	担保人无法单方面撤保，因为担保是合同，要解除担保合同，必须经过对方同意，债权人不同意，是不能撤保的。担保合同未约定保证期限，但也未赋予担保人单方面终止担保权利的，担保也无权单方面终止担保。法律依据《民法典》第六百八十一条，保证合同是为保障债权的实现，保证人和债权人约定，当债务人不履行到期债务或者发生当事人约定的情形时，保证人履行债务或者承担责任的合同。
