问题	过了三年借条就一定会失效吗？
释义	最近有当事人咨询我说：他借钱给了一个朋友，对方也写了借条，但是到约定日期后对方并没有还钱，他在网上也了解了一些借条时效方面的法律知识，问我说是不是过了三年这个借条就失效了？     九江刘文海律师告诉你：不是的。有的借条约定的有还款时间，有的借条可能没有约定还款日期。          刘文海律师风采     约定有还款日期的借条，债权人应当在三年之内主张自己的权利，否则有可能丧失胜诉权，得不到法律的保护。     如果是没有约定还款日期的借条，则适用长期诉讼时效，那么最长20年之内都可以得到法律的保护。
