释义	按照道路交通安全法，机动车行驶时，副驾驶乘坐人员也应当使用安全带。副驾驶必须佩戴安全带的规定早在旧交规中已经有明确规定。凡是在副驾驶上不佩戴安全带的，执勤交警均可以对乘坐人处以罚款20元的处罚。法律依据《道路交通安全法实施条例》第五十一条，机动车行驶时，驾驶人、乘坐人员应当按规定使用安全带，摩托车驾驶人及乘坐人员应当按规定戴安全头盔。
