释义	组织、领导、参加黑社会性质组织罪，是指组织、领导或者参加以暴力、威胁或者其他手段，有组织地进行违法犯罪活动，称霸一方，为非作歹，欺压、残害群众，严重破坏经济、社会生活秩序的黑社会性质组织的行为。【法律依据】《刑法》第二百九十四条，组织、领导黑社会性质的组织的，处七年以上有期徒刑，并处没收财产；积极参加的，处三年以上七年以下有期徒刑，可以并处罚金或者没收财产；其他参加的，处三年以下有期徒刑、拘役、管制或者剥夺政治权利，可以并处罚金。
