释义	遗弃是指负有扶养义务的人对年老、年幼、患病或者其他没有独立生活来源的人拒绝扶养的行为。被遗弃的受害人可以有以下四种救济途径： (1)受害人可以请求居民委员会、村民委员会及受害人所在单位予以劝阻; (2)受害人可以请求居民委员会、村民委员会及受害人所在单位予以调解; (3)受害人有权向人民法院提起民事诉讼，请求给付抚养费; (4)受害人有权依照《刑事诉讼法》的有关规定，提起自诉或者由人民检察院提起公诉。
