驾校注销必须本人去，已经报名并且参加了理论考试的学员，考试信息都会保存到档案内，要本人带着身份证原件到当地的车管所查询办理注销学车信息，不注销档案如果想再次参加驾驶证考试就会无法报考。
一、驾驶证注销的过程是什么：
1、注销申请，具体如下：
（1）属于申请注销的，受理岗审核提交的《机动车驾驶证申请表》、身份证明和机动车驾驶证，符合规章的，受理申请；
（2）属于机动车驾驶证被撤销的，档案管理岗审核并收存机动车驾驶证和《公安交通管理撤销决定书》；
（3）属于机动车驾驶证被吊销的，档案管理岗审核并收存机动车驾驶证和《公安交通管理转递通知书》。
2、业务领导岗审核；
3、档案管理岗整理资料，装订、归档。
二、注销驾照没有强制性要求一定要本人去的，注销驾驶证的原因有以下几种：
1、驾驶人已经死亡、驾驶人身体状况不适合驾驶车辆了；
2、驾驶人自己提出注销的申请、驾驶人已经丧失民事行为能力，其监护人申请注销的；
3、还有就是在换证期间没有去换证，或超过驾驶证有效期一年以上会被强制注销。
法律依据：
《机动车驾驶证申领和使用规章》第三十八条
  申请人在场地和道路上学习驾驶，应当按规章取得学习驾驶证明。学习驾驶证明的有效期为三年，申请人应当在有效期内完成科目二和科目三考试。未在有效期内完成考试的，已考试合格的科目成绩作废。
  学习驾驶证明可以采用纸质或者电子形式，纸质学习驾驶证明和电子学习驾驶证明具有同等效力。申请人可以通过互联网交通安全综合服务管理平台打印或者下载学习驾驶证明。
