释义	离婚协议不需要进行公证。离婚协议在办理离婚登记后即会生效，不需要再去办理公证。不过如果当事人想办理公证的，法律也不会禁止，经过公证的离婚协议如果在办理离婚手续之前需要修改的，需要就修改后的内容在进行公证。【法律依据】《民法典》第一千零七十六条，夫妻双方自愿离婚的，应当签订书面离婚协议，并亲自到婚姻登记机关申请离婚登记。离婚协议应当载明双方自愿离婚的意思表示和对子女抚养、财产以及债务处理等事项协商一致的意见。
