一、登记离婚一定要户口本吗
1、登记离婚是一定要户口本。
2、离婚有两种方式：协议离婚，前提是双方协议好后，在一致意见的基础上到民政部门办理离婚手续。如果协议不成，任何一方可以到当地法院提起诉讼，要求与对方离婚并分割财产，解决孩子问题。
3、以上两种离婚方式，如果是到民政部门协议离婚，必须有户口本，如果没有户口本，可以拿身份证到派出所开具户籍证明。
法律依据：《民法典》
第一千零七十六条 夫妻双方自愿离婚的，应当签订书面离婚协议，并亲自到婚姻登记机关申请离婚登记。离婚协议应当载明双方自愿离婚的意思表示和对子女抚养、财产以及债务处理等事项协商一致的意见。
第一千零七十七条 自婚姻登记机关收到离婚登记申请之日起三十日内，任何一方不愿意离婚的，可以向婚姻登记机关撤回离婚登记申请。前款规定期限届满后三十日内，双方应当亲自到婚姻登记机关申请发给离婚证；未申请的，视为撤回离婚登记申请。
二、协商离婚需要带什么证件
1、结婚证；
2、户口薄和居民身份证；
3、离婚协议书；
4、各带两张1寸的近期半身照。
