完全不还利息只偿还本金一般是不可行的，但是可以争取对利息进行减免，比如如果出现了双方约定的利息超过了法律许可的范围，这种情况就可以要求对利息进行减免，甚至要求退还超出部分利息或者以此超出利息抵扣部分本金。从而达到降低自身债务压力的目的。
