释义	租赁物抵押时抵押人是否具有告知义务因为承租人支配的是租赁物的使用价值，抵押权人支配的是其交换价值，所以租赁物的抵押不会损害承租人的利益。所以，出租人将租赁物设定抵押，无须经过承租人的同意。《中华人民共和国民法典》第五百四十六条债权人转让债权，未通知债务人的，该转让对债务人不发生效力。债权转让的通知不得撤销，但是经受让人同意的除外。《城市房地产抵押管理办法》第二十一条以已出租的房地产抵押的，抵押人应当将租赁情况告知抵押权人，并将抵押情况告知承租人。原租赁合同继续有效。
