释义	离婚时能由一人承担债务，只要男女双方就一人承担共同债务能够达成一致意见。双方达成约定后，另一方可以免除偿还义务，但是双方的约定不产生外部对抗效力，即如果债权人不知道双方的约定的，仍可以要求夫妻二人对这笔债务承担连带偿还责任。法律依据: 《《中华人民共和国民法典》》第一千零八十九条【离婚时夫妻共同债务清偿】离婚时，夫妻共同债务应当共同偿还。共同财产不足清偿或者财产归各自所有的，由双方协议清偿；协议不成的，由人民法院判决。
