一、协议离婚都需要拿什么证件
1、双方有效户口簿或有效户籍证明；
2、双方有效居民身份证或有效临时身份证；
3、双方当事人持有婚姻登记机关颁发的《结婚证》；
4、双方当事人的离婚协议书，协议书中载明双方自愿离婚并对子女抚养、财产及债权债务处理等事项协商达成一致的意见；离婚协议书双方当事人共同拟定一式三份（须在办理现场签字）；
5、双方当事人各提交2张2寸单人近期半身免冠彩照证件照；
6、现役军人办理结婚登记应提交：
（1）《军人婚姻登记证明》；
（2）《军官证》或《文职干部证》、《学员证》、《士兵证》、《离休证》、《退休证》等军人身份证件；
（3）《居民身份证》。
二、可以在外地办理协议离婚吗？
根据我国法律的规定，如果是协议离婚，一般认为是双方到民政部门办理离婚登记，既可以到原办理结婚登记的民政部门，也可以到一方户口所在地的民政部门办理。
因此，如果是协议离婚，每个地方的规定是不同的，有的地方可以异地办理，但是要提供暂住证，有的地方是不允许异地办理的，要到原办理结婚登记的民政部门办理。
