释义	附期限合同失效不是无效。附期限合同失效即附终止期限合同，双方当事人依法签订合同时，可以约定该合同附期限终止，附终止期限的合同，自期限届满时失效，不同于合同自始无效的情形。因此，附期限合同失效不是无效，而是约定期限届满合同失去法律效力，其效果不溯及既往。【法律依据】《民法典》第一百六十条，民事法律行为可以附期限，但是根据其性质不得附期限的除外。附生效期限的民事法律行为，自期限届至时生效。附终止期限的民事法律行为，自期限届满时失效。
