释义	法律分析：后妈对继女其实没有法定的抚养义务，但是，后妈也不能存在歧视或虐待继子女的行为，理论上是孩子的亲生父母亲才对孩子有抚养义务。如果继母虐待继女的话，作为孩子的爷爷奶奶或其他近亲属，发现以后可以到公安机关报案。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第一千零七十二条继父母与继子女间，不得虐待或者歧视。继父或者继母和受其抚养教育的继子女间的权利义务关系，适用本法关于父母子女关系的规定。
