我国运动员的最低等级是国家二级运动员，二级运动员就是普通人和有天赋人的一条鸿沟，普通人就是练一辈子也达不到二级运动员。二级运动员中更有天赋的经过训练可以达到一级运动员。经过比赛可以获得运动健将，国际级运动健将。

《中华人民共和国体育法》 第三十条 国家实行运动员技术等级、裁判员技术等级和教练员专业技术职务等级制度。
