依靠技术进步和科学管理，采取技术和组织措施，消除劳动过程中危及人身安全和健康的不良条件与行为，防止伤亡事故和职业病，保障劳动者在劳动过程中的安全和健康。国家为保护劳动者在生产活动中的安全和健康，在改善劳动条件、防止工伤事故、预防职业病、实行劳逸结合、加强女工保护等方面所采取的各种组织措施和技术措施，统称为劳动保护。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国劳动法》
第十九条 劳动合同应当以书面形式订立，并具备以下条款：
（一）劳动合同期限；
（二）工作内容；
（三）劳动保护和劳动条件；
（四）劳动报酬；
（五）劳动纪律；
（六）劳动合同终止的条件；
（七）违反劳动合同的责任。
劳动合同除前款规定的必备条款外，当事人可以协商约定其他内容。
