法律分析：保留原学校的学籍的具体方法如下：与学校进行协商，到学校办理手续保留学籍，每学期向学校交保留学籍费（或一次性交清），学籍算本地的。到时候报名，考试时（中考高考报名的考试），学校会通知来办有关手续。根据《义务教育法》和当前有关规定，符合输入地规定条件的义务教育随迁子女，可以在输入地就读也可以返回原籍就读。教育部基础教育一司《关于做好无学籍流动学生管理工作的通知》要求，各地应按照法律规定，妥善安排返回原籍的无学籍学生入学，并为其建立学籍，不得以无学籍为由拒绝接收其入学。原来没建学籍的，应通过查重程序后为其新建学籍。学籍系统或数据传输出现故障等特殊情况时，可根据家长要求先通过线下流程办理转学，线下流程完成后，学生即视为在校生，之后再通过学籍系统完成电子学籍档案转接，实现“人籍一致”，最终审核以学籍系统的信息为准。

第三条 义务教育必须贯彻国家的教育方针，实施素质教育，提高教育质量，使适龄儿童、少年在品德、智力、体质等方面全面发展，为培养有理想、有道德、有文化、有纪律的社会主义建设者和接班人奠定基础。
第四条 凡具有中华人民共和国国籍的适龄儿童、少年，不分性别、民族、种族、家庭财产状况、宗教信仰等，依法享有平等接受义务教育的权利，并履行接受义务教育的义务。
