法律分析:
政审指政治审查。政审工作一般应由基层党组织负责进行。在进行这项工作时，可以派党员前去调查，也可以发函请有关单位的党组织协助调查。有些政审工作，由于情况特殊，也可以由上级党组织负责进行。政审的内容和范围，在不同的历史时期应有不同的要求。
法律依据:
《中华人民共和国公务员法》 第二十五条 报考公务员，除应当具备本法第十三条规定的条件以外，还应当具备省级以上公务员主管部门规定的拟任职位所要求的资格条件。
