释义	法律分析：关于证人作证义务，凡是知道案件情况的单位和个人，都有义务出庭作证。人民法院审理案件，查明事实，必须依靠知道案情的各方面证人，对于证人来说，出庭作证是法律规定的义务。因此，知道案件情况的人都应当积极配合人民法院的审理工作，向法庭陈述自己耳闻目睹的事实或者间接了解的情况。有关单位的负责人应当支持证人作证。法律依据：《中华人民共和国刑事诉讼法》第六十条凡是知道案件情况的人，都有作证的义务；生理上、精神上有缺陷或者年幼，不能辨别是非、不能正确表达的人，不能作证人。
