释义	法律分析: 党员去世后可以在骨灰盒或遗体上覆盖党旗，但要经过所在单位党组织同意，而且党旗不得随遗体火化或随骨灰盒掩埋。覆盖遗体用的党旗规格一般在标准规格内选用，遗体覆盖一般用3号或4号党旗，骨灰盒覆盖一般用5号党旗。《中共中央组织部关于全面做好规范中国共产党党徽党旗工作有关问题的通知》第十五条党员去世后，经党员组织关系所在单位具有相关审批权限的基层党委同意，可以在其遗体或者骨灰盒上覆盖党旗，但党旗不得触及地面，不得随遗体火化，不得随骨灰盒掩埋。
