释义	法律分析：房屋租赁合同到期后，要不要签订合同，由当事人协商确定，如果不签订合同的，原租赁合同继续有效，但变成不定期租赁。在租房合同续租中，续租是需要另外准备合同，重新签订的。所以在准备租房续签时，是需要提早准备好租房续签合同，并要提前告知出租人，自己需要续租。法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》第七百三十四条租赁期限届满，承租人继续使用租赁物，出租人没有提出异议的，原租赁合同继续有效，但是租赁期限为不定期。租赁期限届满，房屋承租人享有以同等条件优先承租的权利。
