释义	不会。法律没有规定多长时间会自动销案，公安机关是刑事案件的主要侦查机关，所以公民发现违法犯罪行为时，或者遭受犯罪行为侵害时，可以向公安机关报案。报案后案件是不会自动销案的，只有公安机关侦查清楚之后才会做出销案决定。所以不存在自动销案问题，只要报案人不申请销案，案件就继续存在。除非公安机关没有发现犯罪事实就会主动撤销案件。法律依据《公安机关办理刑事案件程序规定》第一百八十三条人民检察院认为公安机关不应当立案而立案，提出纠正意见的，公安机关应当进行调查核实，并将有关情况回复人民检察院。
