竞业协议离职自动启动吗？

法律分析：
竞业限制一般不会自动启动，需要员工与原单位进行协议约定，需要双方都同意的情况下才可以成立。如果是协议约定的话，离职后三个月进行约定也是可以的。
法律依据：
《中华人民共和国劳动合同法》 第二十三条 它是用人单位对负有保守用人单位商业秘密的劳动者，在劳动合同、知识产权权利归属协议或技术保密协议中约定的竞业限制条款。
