释义	法律分析：如果是增值税普通发票就不用申请红字发票了，如果是增值税的专用发票就要红字发票的申请。在会计实务中一般没跨月是直接作废，当然当月要开负数发票也可以，开负数发票的程序和正数发票一样，就是金额用红字表示。法律依据：《中华人民共和国发票管理办法》第三十四条开具发票后，如发生销货退回需开红字发票的，必须收回原发票并注明“作废”字样或取得对方有效证明；发生销售折让的，在收回原发票并注明“作废”字样后，重新开具销售发票。
