一、超载有哪些危害
研究发现，当汽车轴载超过标准载一倍时，行驶公路一次，相当于标准车辆行驶沥青路面256次，行驶水泥混凝土路面65536次，而且核定载重量越大的车辆，超载对公路的破坏越严重，我国监测到的车辆最大单后轴载重达24吨。这种车辆行驶水泥公路一次，相当于标准车辆行驶121万次。据专家介绍，1条设计使用15年的公路，如果行驶车辆超载1倍，其使用年限将缩短90%，即只能使用1年半。许多投入巨额资金建成的公路，由于超载车辆碾压，路面早早就出现龟裂、坑槽、沉陷、翻浆、车辙、桥梁铺装破碎、板体断裂等病害，每年都要投入巨额资金进行维修。有关专家计算超载者每获利1000元，国家就相应损失6000元，还不算超载造成国家大量应收税费的流失。
超载还大量导致交通事故发生。由于超载，车辆控制能力降低，容易导致交通事故发生。同时超载对公路造成破坏，使车辆行驶速度受到影响，一些超载车辆常常只能以一二十公里的时速爬行，大大影响了公路运输能力的发挥，降低了车辆运输效率。
二、装载规定是什么
(一)公路载客汽车不得超过核定的载客人数，但按照规定免票的儿童除外，在载客人数已满的情况下，按照规定免票的儿童不得超过核定载客人数的10%；
(二)载货汽车车厢不得载客。在城市道路上，货运机动车在留有安全位置的情况下，车厢内可以附载临时作业人员1人至5人；载物高度超过车厢栏板时，货物上不得载人；
(三)摩托车后座不得乘坐未满12周岁的未成年人，轻便摩托车不得载人。
