释义	律师解答：一方当事人死亡后，合同是否继续有效，应当区别对待。从维护交易便利和保障交易安全的角度来讲，对于纯属财产性质的合同(比如买卖和租赁合同)，一方当事人死亡的，不应影响合同的效力。【法律依据】：《中华人民共和国民法典》第九百三十四条委托人死亡、终止或者受托人死亡、丧失民事行为能力、终止的，委托合同终止；但是，当事人另有约定或者根据委托事务的性质不宜终止的除外。
