释义	债权人放弃债权就是债务消灭的原因之一，放弃债权也就是债权人免除债务人相应的债务范围，但是不必然导致免除债务人的责任。债权人放弃债权属于他自己的一项权利，只要符合法律规定的条件，债权人的行为就是成立的。法律依据《民法典》第五百七十五条，债权人免除债务人部分或者全部债务的，债权债务部分或者全部终止，但是债务人在合理期限内拒绝的除外。
