贷款给别人用违法吗？

法律分析：
贷款借给别人使用是不是违法的，这个并没有明文规定，只是违反了贷款资金的使用规则，加大了资金回收的难度。但是如果用于放高利贷的话，是违法的。并且如果借给别人是用于违法犯罪活动的，借款人是会被追究刑事责任的。
法律依据：
《中华人民共和国民法典》 第六百八十条 禁止高利放贷，借款的利率不得违反国家有关规定。
《关于人民法院审理借贷案件的若干意见》 第六条 民间借贷的利率可以适当高于银行的利率，但最高不得超过银行同类贷款利率的四倍(包含利率本数)。
