释义	租房子并不是一定要签书面合同的。如果租赁期限不满六个月的，可以不签订书面的租赁合同，但是超过六个月的，应当签订书面的房屋租赁合同，否则应当视为是双方签订了不定期的租赁合同，任何一方都可以随时解除合同。【法律依据】《民法典》第七百零七条，租赁期限六个月以上的，应当采用书面形式。当事人未采用书面形式，无法确定租赁期限的，视为不定期租赁。
