释义	法律分析：事业单位在编教师辞职被要求付违约金是否合法，取决于学校或者教育部门是否对其进行专业培训。法律依据：《中华人民共和国劳动合同法》第二十五条劳动者只有专业技术培训违反服务期约定和违反保密协议竞业限制约定的，用人单位才可以要求劳动者支付违约金。第二十二条用人单位对劳动者进行了专业技术培训（不是岗前职业培训），支付了培训费，可以在劳动合同或者培训协议中约定服务期，劳动者违反服务期约定的，应当向用人单位支付违约金。但违约金的数额不得超过尚未履行期间分摊的培训费用。
