退休手续办理手续具体如下：
1、从单位退休的参保人员，退休手续由员工企业单位的社保专员负责办理。
（1）用人单位持职工已签字的《养老保险手册》，到社保分中心打印《养老保险个人账户储存额及平均工资指数情况单》；
（2）到劳动保障行政部门办理退休待遇审批手续；
（3）将审批后的《广州市城镇企业职工退休审批表》、《退休人员养老待遇档案》等材料送交社保分中心进行退休待遇审核。
2、一些灵活就业人员需办理个人社保退休手续：
（1）办理退休手续参保人应在达到法定退休年龄前一个月（延缴的参保人在缴费满年限的当月）到社保局办理退休手续，于每月1-15日（机关事业单位）、1-20日（企业单位）到社保局二楼养老服务大厅窗口递交有关材料，办理有关手续；
（2）对符合退休条件审核通过的退休人员，社保局将会在受理的次月15日前，将有关退休人员养老金拨付到退休人员所开设的农行养老金存折（卡），退休人员凭存折（卡）到农行各网点领取；
（3）办理退休时，须提供人事档案（有视同缴费年限）或劳动合同；《城镇从业人员退休登记表》（一式二份）；《养老保险手册》及缴费清单；身份证原件及复印件3张；3张1寸免冠相片。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国社会保险法》第十六条
参加基本养老保险的个人，达到法定退休年龄时累计缴费满十五年的，按月领取基本养老金。
参加基本养老保险的个人，达到法定退休年龄时累计缴费不足十五年的，可以缴费至满十五年，按月领取基本养老金；也可以转入新型农村社会养老保险或者城镇居民社会养老保险，按照国务院规定享受相应的养老保险待遇。
