2023年驾驶证6年到期了异地怎么换证 |

法律分析:
对于异地更换驾照来说，一般在驾照到期前三个月，可以到核发地或者当地车管所直接更换。但是，如果驾照已经到期，就只能在核发地进行更换了。
换证时，由于现在的驾照管理系统全部接入互联网，所以，车主本人可以携带身份证、驾驶证和身体健康证明，直接到当地车管所办理换证。在办理前，大家可以到网上先预约排队，然后到车管所直接办理。
那有车主可能对驾照有效期不是很清楚，所以，下面再说说驾照的有效期。第一次拿到驾照后，有效期为6年，只要每个记分周期都没出现12分的扣分记录，在第6年就可以直接更换10年有效期的驾照。在10年有效期内，如果每个记分周期都没有达到12分的记录，那就可以直接更换长期驾照了。
除了每个记分周期不能出现12分扣分记录以外，还需要以下条件，一、换证前，要将违章记录先处理完毕。二、提供体检证明材料，如果年龄达到70周岁，就要每年提供体检证明。三、驾驶证到期前三个月才能申请换证。
法律依据:
《机动车驾驶证申领和使用规定 》 第五十七条 机动车驾驶人应当于机动车驾驶证有效期满前九十日内，向机动车驾驶证核发地或者核发地以外的车辆管理所申请换证。申请时应当填写申请表，并提交以下证明、凭证：（一）机动车驾驶人的身份证明；（二）机动车驾驶证；（三）县级或者部队团级以上医疗机构出具的有关身体条件的证明。属于申请残疾人专用小型自动挡载客汽车的，应当提交经省级卫生主管部门指定的专门医疗机构出具的有关身体条件的证明。
