寒暑假补课违规吗

法律分析：
不违法，但违反规定。因特殊原因，需要对节假日安排做适当调整的，须经县级以上教育行政部门书面审批，书面审批内容必须包含对占用的节假日进行重新调休的安排，以满足学生法定休假时间。凡未经审批擅自变更法定休假时间的，一律视为利用节假日集体补课行为。
法律依据：
《关于进一步规范义务教育阶段学校办学行为 切实减轻中小学生过重课业负担的意见》 坚决禁止利用节假日集体补课行为。学校要严格按照教育行政部门下发的校历开展教学工作。
