一、罚金一般是涉案金额的多少倍
1、罚金一般是涉案金额的多少倍，具体如下：
（1）最低罚金数额为人民币1000元，最高罚金数额为犯罪数额的2倍；
（2）没有犯罪数额，或者无法计算犯罪数额的，应当在人民币1000元以上10万元以下判处罚金；
（3）罚金数额的多少可参考宣告刑期的长短确定。

《中华人民共和国刑法》第五十二条
【罚金数额的裁量】判处罚金，应当根据犯罪情节决定罚金数额。
第五十三条
【罚金的缴纳】罚金在判决指定的期限内一次或者分期缴纳。期满不缴纳的，强制缴纳。对于不能全部缴纳罚金的，人民法院在任何时候发现被执行人有可以执行的财产，应当随时追缴。
由于遭遇不能抗拒的灾祸等原因缴纳确实有困难的，经人民法院裁定，可以延期缴纳、酌情减少或者免除。
二、罚金的适用有哪些方式
罚金适用于以下四种方式：
1、单科式。法律规定的单科罚金主要适用于单位犯罪；
2、选科式。在罚金单独适用的情况下，法律规定罚金与其他刑种并列，可供选择适用；
3、并科式。在罚金附加适用的情况下，明确规定判处自由刑时，必须同时并处罚金；
4、复合式。罚金的单处于并处同时规定在一个法条内，以供选择适用。
