1、将过失致人死亡结果作为结果加重犯的情况有：
(1)故意伤害罪致死、强奸致死、绑架致死、非法拘禁致死、抢劫致死属于结果加重犯，其要求行为与死亡结果之间有直接因果关系。
(2)暴力干涉婚姻自由致死、虐待致死也是结果加重犯，但其特殊性在于：虽然犯罪的基本行为与被害人自杀之间没有直接因果关系，但刑法仍将其列为结果加重犯。
(3)侮辱罪、诽谤罪、遗弃罪，没有将过失致人死亡规定为法定的结果加重犯。
2、将过失致人死亡拟制为故意杀人罪的情形有：
(1)非法拘禁使用暴力致人死亡的;
(2)刑讯逼供或暴力取证致人死亡的;
(3)虐待被监管人致人死亡的;
(4)聚众打砸抢致人死亡的;
(5)聚众斗殴致人死亡的;
这些情形中的致人死亡是指过失致人死亡，但将之拟制为故意杀人罪。
3、将过失致人死亡转化为故意伤害罪(致人死亡)的情形有：非法组织卖血、强迫卖血，对他人造成伤害的，依照故意伤害罪论处。这里的造成伤害是指过失所为。过失致人重伤，定故意伤害罪;过失致人死亡，定故意伤害(致死)罪。
4、将过失致人死亡与基本犯罪行为从一重罪论处的情形有：抢夺过程中过失致人死亡，触犯抢夺罪与过失致人死亡罪，择一重罪论处。
