释义	被告人被起诉之后要是不出庭的可以先与之沟通，沟通无果的被告人没有正当理由拒绝不出庭的，人民法院会根据实际的情况作出以下处理：要是普通民事诉讼，被告人没有正当理由拒绝不出庭的，人民法院会判处被告人缺席，然后先中止诉讼；要是被告有自己特殊原因而不能够出庭的，人民法院会延期开庭；要是被告人或者是原告人在起诉途中出现事故的，人民法院会终止诉讼。法律依据：《民事诉讼法》第一百四十四条被告经传票传唤，无正当理由拒不到庭的，或者未经法庭许可中途退庭的，可以缺席判决。
