释义	法律分析：休庭，是因故中止案件审理，是法庭审理程序的暂停，以便庭审人员休息或进行合议或出现其他情况时适用。在诉讼法中，一般要求法官在连续的状态中进行审判活动，只有出现法定的事由才允许中断，反映在庭审中，应该也只有法定的事由才能中止庭审，即宣布休庭。法律依据：《最高人民法院关于第一审经济纠纷案件适用普通程序开庭审理的若干规定》第三十七条当事人愿意调解的，可以休庭后进行，经过开庭审理后调解不成的，合议庭应当休庭进行评议，休庭结束后应当继续开庭。
