别人欠钱担保人要负责任还吗

法律分析：我国的民法典规定，一般情况下，欠钱担保人是否需要负责任，由实际情况来定。如果债务人按照约定承担了债务清偿的义务，那么担保人就不需要负责任，更不需要承担债务的连带清偿责任。只有在债务人不履行债务的时候，保证人才需要承担保证责任的，所以保证人不需要提前承担保证的责任。
法律依据：《中华人民共和国民法典》 第六百八十一条 保证合同是为保障债权的实现，保证人和债权人约定，当债务人不履行到期债务或者发生当事人约定的情形时，保证人履行债务或者承担责任的合同。
