释义	媳妇没有赡养公婆的义务。儿媳、女婿不属于法定赡养人的范畴，所承担的仅仅是协助赡养的义务，法律也没有规定儿媳对公婆、女婿对岳父母有赡养义务。虽然法律规定赡养人的配偶应当协助赡养人履行赡养义务，但协助的义务不是赡养义务，且此规定只适用于夫妇关系存续期间。法律依据《中华人民共和国老年人权益保障法》第十四条《中华人民共和国民法典》第二十六条、第一千零六十七条
