释义	《党政领导干部职务任期暂行规定》明确规定了党政领导职务每个任期为五年，党政领导干部在同一职位上连续任职达到两个任期，不再推荐、提名或者任命担任同一职务;党政领导干部担任同一层次职务累计达到十五年的，不再推荐、提名或者任命担任规定范围内的同一层次领导职务。该文件同时还规定，党政领导在任期内应当保持稳定。除达到退休年龄、健康原因、辞职或罢免等情况者，应当任满一个任期。
